The 16th annual East Texas Kick-Off Luncheon is sponsored by Azalea Orthopedics and Baylor Scott & White Texas Spine & Joint Hospital. GUEST SPEAKER: Tim Brando, FOX Sports Broadcaster - For more than 40 years Brando has been a leader in sports journalism and broadcasting. Throughout his career, Brando has covered 26 individual sports, 25 of them while at ESPN, which is still considered the most ever by anyone at the network. Brando currently works for FOX Sports as a play-by-play commentator in football and basketball where he enjoys mentoring the next generation of sports journalists. EMCEE: Michael Coleman, KLTV Sports Director SPECIAL GUESTS: East Texas Area Scholar Athletes, Head Football Coaches, and School Superintendents. The annual "Watch List" for The Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award will be announced. One athlete from each school will be presented with the Coach Danny Palmer East Texas Team Community Service Award.
