Description

This year's SOP Annual Meeting will be conducted in person. The event will be held at The ARK Community & Sports Center from 9:00 am until noon. Our meeting theme this year is “Ready, Resilient, Relevant: The Fort Leonard Wood Region’s Commitment to National Defense." This meeting is the SOPs annual planning session where we, as the four-county regional defense community support organization, will provide a report on our accomplishments, consider the organization’s performance over the past year, and set objectives for the coming year. We anticipate that more than 200 business, governmental, and civic leaders from the four-county region (Pulaski, Phelps, Laclede, and Texas) will participate. This year we are inviting Senator Roy Blunt; Senator Josh Hawley; Representative Vicky Hartzler; Governor Mike Parson; Assistant Secretary of the Army for Installations Environment and Energy, Honorable Rachel Jacobson; Major General James Bonner; Mr. Harry Roberts, Missouri Military Advocate; and Mike Dubois, Kit Bond Strategies to speak or provide remarks during our meeting. We are currently working on an agenda for the meeting. Once the agenda has been developed, we will share it on our website.
