Athens Resonates is back after a 2 year hiatus. Join us for this very special event featuring a Half Shepard and Savannah Distributing curated wine and cheese tasting from 5pm to 7pm, followed by live music performances at 8:30pm by T Hardy Morris, Night Palace, and Well Kept. Tickets for both the Wine and Cheese tasting and live music are $50, tickets for music only are $15. This event will also feature art work by Abby Deschenes, the artist in residence doing the this seasons album art. Athens Resonates is an organization comprised of (mostly) Athens, GA based creative businesses who have come together to raise money and awareness for Nuci's Space and the Boys and Girls Clubs of Athens Music Makers program. We raise money by recording bands live to 1/2" 2-track tape in the studio and pressing two of the songs to a 7" record for sale in our store. Each of the records is pressed in a constantly changing blend of color so just like the recording, they're an unrepeatable moment in time. All sessions are filmed live. Every piece of album art is an original piece of artwork created by a local artist. The artwork and posters are all hand screen printed. Each release is limited to 300 copies. We're proud to say that 100% of all sales go to these two organizations.
