Turkey Question

Description

I have a turkey from a group of 12 with a substantial saggy croup. I thought it was sour croup and treated it with yogurt, garlic water, and probiotics, but it doesn't seem to be helping. I'm starting to wonder if maybe it is full of sand and mud? It feels like it might be because it seems to settle and harden and become a clump in the croup but will break up after massaging it a bit, but then resettles. I have tried on multiple occasions to give water from a syringe and drain it out; I get the water, but not the other contents. Has anyone experienced this with their turkey? Does anyone have any suggestions for resolving this issue besides going to a vet? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
