We are currently seeking an energetic and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Janitor – Project Cleaner (Part-Time position). The ideal candidate for this position is detail-oriented, flexible, and willing to take on non-routine cleaning as the need arises. This is an office cleaning environment. The Project Janitor will be responsible for Projects in offices, restrooms, hallways, and cleaning tasks such as strip, wax, carpet, and detail cleaning some areas required by the Supervisor & Manager. Location: Municipal Courthouse 375 South High Street Columbus, Ohio 43215 Responsibilities: -Perform general cleanup of all areas as directed. -Strip & Wax -Carpet cleaning -Upholstery cleaning -Handle emergency cleaning and upkeep requests. -Ensure the Janitor room is maintained and fully equipped. IMPORTANT: Candidates must be able to pass the Franklin County background check and our company’s background. Expenses for parking are the employee's responsibility; there is a bus stop right in front of the building. Qualifications: -Janitorial experience in projects - is important but not necessary. -Willingness to work starting at 4:30 pm to 8:30 pm (Part-time positions) Monday to Friday, occasionally weekends as needed. -Ability to work well under minimal supervision -Capacity to take directions from his Supervisor/Manager -Strong attention to detail -Physically capable of lifting and moving objects up to 50 pounds, as necessary.
