The James Pitts Band is in search of a drummer and a bass player backing vocals are a plus. Award winning blues rock guitarist and national touring artist James Pitts is returning to gigging and is seeking musicians looking to gig and possibly tour if needed. James is a seasoned touring musician who has shared the stage with many, many names over the years ranging from Johnny Winter to Eric Gales and Chris Duarte. Must have reliable gear and transportation, a beer or two is ok but not looking for heavy drinkers or drugs. The band performs a mixture of James' original material (think Richie Kotzen, Vintage Trouble type of soul, funk, blues, and rock combined) and covers. James has in house marketing and a live room/recording studio. Rehearsals in Hutchinson with full backline, you'll just have to bring sticks and a bass to rehearse. Rehearsals will consist of going through the material and designing the show. There won't be learning the songs at rehearsal, any woodshedding and learning should be done at home if there's a section you're unsure of James will be happy to review the song or show it to you. James is looking to get back out there as quickly as possible and as often as possible, with a minimum of every weekend (Fri & Sat).
