GUITARTEC REPAIR... WE NEED A NEW PLACE TO FIX GUITARS! After doing the guitar repair work at Barnstorm Music for the last 17 years, GUITARTEC REPAIR now needs a new home as Barnstorm is sadly closing its doors forever. We will continue our guitar repair business in the Medway area IF a suitable low cost commercial or retail space can be found. We wish to be independent of music stores and prefer a small to tiny secure commercial (or possibly retail) space with utilities and parking. We are used to working behind a work bench, so any available space that's small and reasonable should be fine, from a back room in a church to a small office/shop in an industrial park. A larger space is fine too as long as it's low cost. We have already looked at all the local mills and strip malls, but either the cost has been prohibitive or they just won't work logistically. GUITARTEC REPAIR has always been "value added" as we generate significant customer traffic wherever we go. We do many guitar repairs while our customers wait and learn the basics of guitar care and feeding. We use a small sander and soldering iron along with hand tools and we have our own small work benches on wheels. Of course, there will be some acoustic and electric guitar playing going on as needed, but NOT super loud and no jams, just guitar testing. We are respectful of our surroundings and currently work from 3:30PM til 8PM on Sat, Sun and Wed. We will be at Barnstorm Music through the end of July.
