Full Job Description Neutz Sons & Daughters Moving is hiring an experienced Driver + Mover to our Moving Team. Neutz Sons & Daughters Moving is located in Louisville, KY. We are a proud agent of North American Van Lines. As a Driver for Neutz Sons & Daughters Moving you will do more than just drive a truck. Our drivers are expected to maintain a professional appearance and provide excellent communication to our customers and operations department. Drivers are also responsible for leading, supervising and managing crews to ensure the safe and seamless movement of our customer's goods. Our goal is to provide a professional and stress-free service for our customers. Pay: $18.00 to $22.00 /hour + TIPS Our top performers make an additional 200-300 cash tips per week Job Requirements: Transport goods using a company truck Assist and lead the crew in loading and delivering shipment. Perform pre-trip safety inspections on truck of moving equipment, interior and exterior of truck, straps and tensioners, walk-boards, etc. Maintain required documentation and paperwork for shipments, expenses, driver logs, and DOT regulations Ability to lift heavy items (50lbs or more) while climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, walking, etc. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to operate a 26 foot box truck. Excellent communications skills Ability to be on time and reliable; ability to meet deadlines Customer Service Driving Requirements Valid medical examiner's certificate (DOT Medical Card) - Company can pay to get DOT medical card if needed Minimum age: 21 Moving experience is a plus Class A CDL is a plus We will train the right candidate Possess a satisfactory driving record Job Type: Full-time Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour Benefits: Flexible schedule Health insurance Paid time off Paid training Schedule: Monday to Friday Weekend availability Supplemental Pay: Bonus pay Tips Experience: Moving: 1 year (Preferred) Commercial driving: 1 year (Preferred)
