We are looking for someone who will be a positive, reliable, team player, ready to learn while attending to the pets in our care. Must be detail oriented and passionate about animals. A typical day for our Kennel Care Assistants: -Cleaning kennels and surrounding areas. -Feeding and medicating dogs and cats. -Noting animal behaviors and eating habits. -Assisting nurses / doctors -Moving dogs to outdoor areas. -Bathing dogs. -Miscellaneous janitorial chores including laundry, kitchen clean up, trash removal, sweeping and mopping. Requirements and Qualifications: -High School diploma or GED. -Must be available to work weekends and all major holidays (these are our busiest times). -Strong communication skills, good judgment, able to manage stressful situations. -Physical and mental capacity to perform in a fast-paced environment. -Be able to lift 30 lbs. -Willing to work in all weather conditions (Rain/Summer weather).
