Do you idolize Ray Manzarek? Is Ray Davies your working class hero? Are you aware of Ray Charles? Not that you need be anywhere near as good as these Rays, but some skill and a great ear will go a long way. Here's the plan: You learn a dozen+ songs (lead sheets provided if preferred), rehearsing them regularly over a couple months with the rest of us. When they're polished up and ready for some heavy petting, we start booking paid gigs. How paid may depend on exactly how heavy our petting is, but the wetter the better! Basically, I have written interesting music. I have recorded this music in versions that translate the final vision, playing all instruments myself (not ideal). I would love to assemble a band of quality musicians who share this vision well beyond the music I've already written. I have a rehearsal space, time, and focus, though am not technically gifted enough to perform it live at the level the music deserves, so I will relegate myself to vocals, lead, and songwriting only. This means that YOU, The Organist, can take all credit for spearheading this keys-driven project into oblivion!
