Robotboy Studios is an independent project studio in Eugene, Oregon dedicated to creating a safe, exciting and creative atmosphere where artists can do their best work. The most important aspect of any recording is always the performance. At Robotboy I have worked very hard to create a space that inspires great performances as well as capture them. The first ingredient in a great track may be the performance but you still need quality gear and the knowledge to use it. Robotboy has you covered with a gear list that includes, a Toft ATB console, AML and CAPI preamps, Presonus Quantum conversion, new and vintage guitar amplifiers, a full Gretsch drum kit with a collection of vintage snares and vintage Zildjian cymbals, 1959 Hammond C3 organ with Leslie speaker, 1952 Baldwin Acrosonic Piano, Korg Minilogue Synthesizer, custom built condenser microphones as well as vintage microphones from Shure, Rode, AKG, Sennheiser and Electro-Voice. Many of these pieces I have repaired or built myself giving me a unique perspective on how to get the most out of my gear. Most importantly, I understand that making music is a highly personal endeavor that requires trust. I am committed to giving EVERY project the attention it deserves.
