The ideal candidate should have: -2+ years of electrical experience OR servicing internally illuminated channel letters, building and pole signage. -Previous sign industry experience is a plus but not required -Must be mechanically inclined, take pride in their work, and have an attention to detail. -Ability to effectively manage multiple installation and maintenance projects for many of the top brands in the retail, restaurant, hospitality and financial service markets. -Attention to detail to ensure Gainesville Neon’s stringent production quality and safety standards are maintained. -Excellent customer service, oral and written communication, and team building skills. -Able to lift up to 50 lbs. -Climb, stoop, kneel, crawl, and stand to perform daily work and ladder climbing, as needed. -Ability to operate and drive book trucks and lifts -A clean motor vehicle record required, CDL is a plus. We are willing to train the right candidate. This is a full time job Mon-Fri 7:30am-4:30pm with occasional travel and/or work outside regular business hours/days. Gainesville Neon is expanding and looking for an apprentice or experienced sign service technician to service multiple types of signs and light fixtures. Candidates should have electrical experience, a clean driving record, be willing to work from heights greater than 20ft. We are looking for someone with a good work ethic, great attitude and who is able to communicate effectively and courteously with customers on the job site. This position includes PTO and very competitive pay with room to grow.
