Established Doom Band Looking for Drummer

We’re a guitarist and bassist looking for a hard hitting drummer to write originals with us. We just finished our first album and have most of the material for the second. We understand that the best music has each individual make their own mark on it so we'd be stoked to have someone come in with their own ideas and takes on what we got. Our influences and similar sounding bands: Sleep, Electric Wizard, Black Sabbath, High on Fire, Pink Floyd, Pentagram, Yob, Sleep, Windhand, Acid King, Hawkwind, Iron Claw, Om, Neurosis, The Melvins, Alice in Chains, Cough, Ufomammut, Bongzilla, Weedeater, Kyuss, Sleep, Conan and many more. Our ideal drummer has these attributes: - Can consistently practice twice a week - Groovy but punishing and able to work with some lighter spacier dynamics. - Able to carry a beat with droney guitar passages. - Able to do some occasional sabbath-esque swing beats and faster high on fire/neurosis tribal type chops from time to time. - Is open to occasionally exploring odd time signatures such as 5/4, 6/4, 7/4 primarily. As an individual, we want someone that is reliable, a solid stylistic fit with us on a musical level and has a good attitude. Take your role in the band seriously but not too seriously. We’re both in our late 20s going into 30s but we really don’t care about age/image much as long as you can dig what we got going- we prioritize the music first. 420 Friendly (encouraged, really) of course. Please have your own kit/transportation. We play tuned down to Bb standard (sometimes Drop Ab) as well as run 4 amps/cabs between the both of us so the sound turns out to be pretty damn heavy. We have a practice space available and ready to go.
