Description

We are looking for a Training Associate who will organize, facilitate, and deliver training programs for front-line team members, especially our Drivers. This will include refresher training and other training that will be required for the company, such as new hire orientation and leadership training. • Under the direction of the Operations team, the Training Associate plans, organizes, and effectively conducts employee training on various skill, policy, and compliance areas. • Assist with researching and identifying areas in which training is required and/or beneficial. • Assist in the evaluation and modification of existing or proposed programs; suggests and recommends suitable changes. • Help designs, drafts, and/or acquires new training materials. • Administer, score, and log results of qualification, learning assessment, and retention tests; arranges retraining or other appropriate action for insufficient scores. • Facilitate delivery of training by reserving and setting up needed audiovisual equipment and training rooms; scheduling training times with attendees; preparing and distributing training aids such as handouts; and performing other related tasks. • Perform other related duties, as required Benefits: • Medical insurance • Dental insurance • Vision insurance • 100% employer-paid for basic life insurance • Free company lunch daily • PTO • Paid company holidays • 401(k) match • Paid parental leave • Life insurance • Short-term disability • Long-term disability Qualifications: • High School Diploma is required! • An Associate’s, OR Bachelor's degree in related area is preferred. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Strong presentation skills. • Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods. • Ability to design and implement effective training. • Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related program software. • Proven track record of understanding the drivers of product and labor cost variances. • Proactive personality and character demonstrating an ability to complete activities; • Strong verbal, organizational, technical ability, and people skills required; • Strong organizational logical thinking skills; • Ability to manage many tasks and prioritize appropriately. • Strong leadership experience with experience in a start-up or turnaround environments • Ability to work well under pressure and deadlines • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate with non-exempt to upper management levels • Understanding of lean manufacturing principles and operational processes • Understanding of HACCP & food safety standards • Aptitude in showing self-initiative and follow-through • Detail-oriented and ability to see high picture
