*This event is hosted by Conscious Blacks in the DMV, The DMV Socialites, Arlington 35+, and Northern Virginia 20s & 30s Group. Join us for some "Red, White & Blue" fun this Fourth of July! See details below: 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm: Pool Party at Lake Newport Pool! Bring your towels & swimwear! Guests can enjoy the large outdoor pool (3-10 ft. deep), the Kiddie Pool for those with small children, sand volleyball court, basketball court, grills, covered & uncovered picnic areas, & nearby walking trail. Outside food is allowed - glassware & alcohol are prohibited. Water, juice pouches, & light snacks will be provided. Bring folding chairs & a combination lock if you want to use the lockers inside the locker rooms. Bathrooms, shower stalls & free parking on site. $15 for adults, $10 for children; must be paid in advance. This fee is for access to all amenities & for the food & snacks that will be provided.
