looking for forever pet

My husband and I are in search of either a kitten up to a year old (certain breeds) or a puppy up to 6months old- no pitbulls. We own our home, I am a stay at home mom to our 2 children and 3 cats. We are willing pay a rehoming fee but are not willing to pay and arm and leg. We have quite a big back yard with privacy hedges boarding it to create a fence. I grew up with Boston’s, Shitzu’s and Labradors. He grew up with Pits and Doberman’s so we are good with either big or small dogs. As for cats we have had bobtails, Manx, and domestic’s. He is looking more for a Bobtail, Manx, Maine Coon, Norwegian, or Himalayan Yes I know this post is long but I just want to make my husband happy and give him an animal he can love as well as myself.
