Description
Duke will be about 2 years old this July. He was my step father's dog. He is house broken so he'll let you know when he needs to go out. He is also crate trained. Knows how to "sit" and "stay" and "lay down". Is not aggressive with food or anything
He's still intact and friendly with kittens, cats and older kids. He grew up with a smaller dog and they got along well but he's a bit rambunctious when meeting dogs he doesn't know. He's gotten a lot better not barking at every stranger we see. With a bit of additional training, he should be fine. An owner who knows how to be a stern but supportive (not abusive) suggested because he still has his quirks. Once he's met someone, he's super cool with them and super loving. Small kids (ie toddlers) seem to scare him a bit so I'd suggest a home without younger kids.
Duke needs space to run and be a dog so please have a fenced yard. He has been an inside dog his whole life and currently living in an apartment with me. Most places do not accept pitbulls and I have to move soon. I also travel for work and have no one reliable to care for him while away. It's hard to let him go but it is what's best for him. I'm not 100% sure on vet history but he's overall healthy. A check up is most likely do but nothing noticeably wrong with him.
NOT interested in giving him to someone who just wants to breed him. Please be someone who actually wants to love and care for a dog. He's a good and loving dog. Extremely loyal. So I want him to have someone who shows the same.
