Looking to hire a reliable and hard-working person/s to perform hand auguring, soils sampling and test pit excavations. Must be hard working and able to follow instructions directed by the Engineer/Geologist. This job entails heavy lifting and hard physical labor using hand augers to bore holes to the depths of up to 20 feet and test pits to 10 feet. Workers are expected to have reliable transportation to job sites throughout Los Angeles, Orange and Ventura counties. Pay range is from $18 to $25 an hour depending on experience. Please note, this is listed as part time work due to there is not always a full weeks' worth of work sometimes.
