Looking to form new blues band

Description

I recently moved to DFW area and am putting together a new Blues band. I play lead and rhythm guitar and do lead and backup vocals. I am looking for all players, including drums, bass, keyboards, another guitar player, and would love a horn section. I have a dedicated air-conditioned place for rehearsal, backline amps if you don’t want to drag yours to practice, and full PA systems, including mics. My goal is to form a tight professional band and play weekly or monthly depending on the opportunities and other band members availability. Some touring, if we get to that, might be fun too. Performing good Blues is the target and the money made will be proportional to the music and audience. If this interests you, please contact me. A bit more about me: I have been playing since 1966 in clubs, at concerts, and on TV and radio. I have shared the stage with Santana, Iron Butterfly, Tommy Castro, Daniel Castro, Magic Slim and the Teardrops, Curtis Salgado, Sista Monica, Mark Hummel, Tinsley Ellis, Guitar Shorty, Jimmy Burns and Gary Smith amongst others. My bands have included the Fourth Street Exit, Blue Ash, Big Daddy Blu Allstars, Martha's Hot Flash, the Cash and Carry Blues Band, the Little George Band, Blues Cadillac and BluesHammer. I have played at Buddy Guy’s Legends in Chicago, the 411 club in Kalamazoo, BB Kings in Los Angeles, JJ’s Blues, and the Woodham’s Lounge in San Jose, Henflings, Moe’s Alley, and the Moss Landing Inn in the Santa Cruz and Monterey areas, The Saloon, The Sausalito Cruising Club, Bay View Boat Club and Amante’s in San Francisco, and Chaser’s Lounge in Anaheim. I played the county fair circuit for 3 summers performing 26 days a month. Major Influences are B.B. King, Freddie King, Albert King, Buddy Guy but I also enjoy playing songs by Joe Bonamassa, Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, Chris Cain, and others. My CD’s have included “Love is the Answer” by the Cash and Carry Blues Band, “Little George live at JJ’s Blues” “We’ve Got It All” by Blues Cadillac, and “Set One” by BluesHammer. Set One is on YouTube and iTunes if you want to hear my playing and vocals.
