A well established Paramore Tribute band "Pressure" is ISO rhythm guitarist to replace our current rhythm guitarist who will have to step away from the band in October due to relocating out of state. While we are saddened of his impending departure, we are excited to bring in some new talent and keep our band moving forward. So far 3 out of the 5 members are original members (me included). We will be down to 2 original members when the new rhythm guitarist comes in. We have played Tin Roof in Raleigh and have a show lined up at Lincoln Theatre Raleigh, Local 506 Chapel Hill, Ziggys High Point and The Night Rider Raleigh. Those shows will be played with our current rhythm guitarist. We will be holding open auditions starting the weekend after July 4th. We do have some expectations, and we hope you understand, but these expectations will help ensure continued success of our band. Can you: *Provide a short bio of yourself? *Play rhythm guitar? *Pay $20 a month towards our rented practice space? *Help out with band related expenses i.e. merch, promotional ads on social media and misc platforms? *Commute to Moncure NC for practice every Sunday for 3 hours, and some Saturdays if needed? *Provide a demo (video or audio) of you playing to some Paramore backing tracks? *Maintain a high level of professionalism both in practice and live at venues? * Provide backing vocals? * Quickly learn our setlist consisting of 15 songs (and counting)? *Actively participate in our group chat via text message? Do you: *Have experience playing live? *If you played live, how many shows and is your stage presence good? *Have reliable transportation to and from practices/shows? *Have a high level of dedication and willingness to play shows local and abroad (NC, SC, VA)? *Have your own pro level equipment? (We all run DI so no amps needed). *Have a flexible schedule that will allow for longer practices (if needed)? *Have a positive attitude? These are just basic common sense things that we have and believe every successful band should possess. We are looking for a permanent replacement so if any of the above is an issue, then this will not be for you. We have been together for a year (July 2021 is when we formed) and we would like to continue to blow up the scene with some tight, explosive, and energetic Paramore! Our practice space has lighting rigs, DMX controller, fog machines, Behringer PMP 4000 Europower 24 channel 1600 watt powered mixing board, rack with Behringer eqs, Behringer NX3000 power amp, and fan system, 2 JBL JRX225 mains with 2x15 in each cab. 1x18 JBL sub, a Roland TD11 ekit on a drum riser, Shure mics, and multiple floor monitors of various brands and sizes. We are very serious and heavily dedicated, so we expect a level of dedication that will mimic ours. We don't plan on being a national act, and doing this for fun, as we all have full time jobs, families, etc. We plan on playing alot of shows next year. We have social media, website, merch, over 550 followers nationwide (and counting) and have alot of local band connections. All members are between the ages of 25 and 43 and commute from the Raleigh and Fayetteville areas to Moncure for practice. Please feel free to reach out if this is something you are interested in. Full membership won't happen until October, but would like to hold open auditions and have you come to some of our practices and shows so you can get a feel for our vibe and the music we tribute.
