We both found ourselves in downtown Rockville shopping at Monet this weekend. I was looking for some gifts for a colleagues birthday. You were on the other side of the store looking at some candles. I couldn't take my eyes off you and you caught me peeking in your direction after the third or fourth time. I simply couldn't let go when you caught me and smiled. You put back the candle and wandered around the store some more. Even walking by me close enough that I could smell whatever perfume you were wearing. You walked out the store without buying anything, but I really wanted to offer that candle to you. It would have been nothing for me to offer, and I'm sure it would have made you smile even wider. I'm hoping we cross paths again and I can make you smile.
