Please help us rehome Barnaby! Backstory: About a year ago a mentally and physically disabled man adopted Barnaby from the Lairmer Humane Society. Due to his limitations, he allowed his dog to potty in his house. So Barnaby is not potty trained and is about 3-4 years old. Also, Barnaby got out of his backyard 2 times and bit a neighbor and a postman. Both are on record at the humane society. His owner has moved into a nursing home permently. My mom has cared for the dog for about 2 months waiting to see if his ownwer was coming home. He is not. And my mom cannot care for thr dog any longer. Lairmer Humane Society said today that they will put him down due to his bite history. Longmont and Boulder Humane Society won't take him, they said they are full. Cons: bite history, not potty trained, doesn't trust kids Pros: Crate trained, good size, seems to like other dogs Can you adopt this dog? Or do you have another suggestion? Text, call or email.
