• Probably the only time the nation was more divided was April 11, 1861. • For the first time in our history, a president is being investigated for refusing a peaceful transition of power. • For the first time in our history, a president is being investigated for trying to deny the will of the people. • A sitting president changed the rules in order to stack a (supposedly) non-political United States Supreme Court, even nominating those who lied to congress during confirmation hearings, and one accused of childhood sexual assault. • No longer a cold war, we are engaged in active warfare with Russia. • After months of shut down and throwing billions upon billions of dollars to try to re-stimulate the economy, our economic bubble is about to burst. The Great Depression is going to look like a recession with the world-wide calamity at hand. • We rejoice over denying women reproductive rights, the ability to basically remove a clump of cells, yet delight in executing people who may, or may not be guilty of a crime. Love conquers hate.
