Looking to Start a New Band

Hello there! I'm looking to start an original band with some like-minded people with the ultimate goal of recording (whether via online services or in-person producers) and playing some live shows. I'm primarily a bassist but also play guitar and can sing. I've been a "bass mercenary" if you will over the years, but now I'm looking to create something with people. I've written a handful of songs but have yet to get demos recorded. I'm also fine with sharing song ideas and coming up with new material with contributions from each band member. I have a place to jam in my basement, am in my mid-30s, and prefer alternative rock, indie, some metal, weird time signatures, and song writing that's a bit out of the norm. Anyone roughly in the same age group is welcome--just don't be an asshat. Cheers!
