Need to Rehome Two Adult Cats

Our 5 year old cat Blackie needs a loving home. She has a beautiful black long-haired coat and is very sweet and affectionate. She lived outside during her early years but we had a close relationship with her. She had 3 darling kittens and was a great Mom. They were adopted through the SPCA foster program that we participated in until we caught all outdoors strays and had them sprayed or neutered. Her good friend Addie would be a great companion cat to adopt at the same time. He has striking marking and is friendly and playful. He has been an indoor cat for four years and it neutered. We will get all shots up-to-date before they are adopted. We prefer to have them adopted together. They are connected to each other and it will help in the transition to a new home. These cats are not used to young children. They love playing and being petted, so older kids who are respectful of their space should be okay. We will screen applicants with a brief questionnaire suggested by pet rescue organizations. As mentioned above, we will make sure they are up to date on shots before a new human companion takes possession. We will charge a small re-homing fee of $25 per cat to help defray this cost.
