Volunteers needed to assist walking dogs and/ or spend some time with the cats in the cat room. This is a great opportunity to give back to the community. If you have teens that are bored this summer it’s something you can do together that would also add something extra to your resume and your kids college app as well as teaching them generosity and compassion. You can volunteer for as much or little time as you wish there is no minimum. Minors MUST be accompanied by an adult and you’re required to fill out an application and release for any kids with you. The sign up process requires an ID and takes about 10 mins. Shelter hours are Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 11:00 am to 4 p.m. Address is 335 Armory Rd Palestine Texas Hope to see you soon!
