OP/ Freedom means we have the choice too live our lives as we choose. As our congress takes away our RIGHT to choose how we live our own lives and how we treat our own bodies, we are literally losing our individual freedoms. More rules/laws equal less freedoms. Every time your congress imposes its minority will on the majority of people, your freedom is being diminished. Americans should have a HUGE issue with our government telling us what we can consume and how we treat our bodies. The very word "freedom" means no (minimal) rules, restrictions and regulations. The Supreme Court just took away another batch of YOUR rights. Every American should take issue with that regardless off how you feel about abortion. Abortion is a personal choice not a choice that our government should be making on our behalf. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Congress? They just took away your right to own a gun. Did that bother you? Or do you pick and choose the rights you like and the ones you dont? They do not take away your rights. They pass laws restricting them. You do not have the right to murder someone. The supreme court did not take away any of your rights. Abortion is still legal. What they did is give us the right to vote on it. Your entire premise is wrong. Educate yourself and try again.
