Lost older dog roaming near El Cerrito DMV

My husband just spent the last hour trying to get a hold of this senior dog, found roaming in the DMV parking lot. He was unsuccessful, the dog is skittish and scared, and it’s hard to corner in an open area like the parking lot. Neighbors in the area said that they did not recognize this dog, so we have no leads, and are unable to hold onto this pup until we find an owner. If this dog looks familiar to you, we are going to call Berkeley animal services when they open in a few hours and let them know of the situation. El Cerrito animal services is closed today. I hope that this dog finds their way home or is adopted from the shelter. We would take him in but we already have a dog and a cat and a two-month-old baby.
