Performing covers and originals in appreciation of AfroFunk, AfroJazz, and AfroBeat grooves originating from West Africa, we honour this lively music primarily rooted in 70’s Nigeria & Benin. For vocals there may be some overlap with R&B stylings. Not required, but experience with minor percussion, and/or ability to sing in English plus French and/or Yoruba would be an asset.Our philosophy is to enjoy our time together and to not stress ourselves about gigs. Don't worry, we always get lots of shows. Join a great group of bright fun people. We need someone on bass who can swing. Even better if you can sing. Someone who can commit to regular rehearsals and forthcoming shows.
