Found, golden retriever

Older, well kept, large golden retriever found on grandview avenue around 10 pm last night. Police took to shelter. Only wearing a choke chain, no tags. I am interested in finding the owner to make sure they were reunited with family. Was given water, but wasn’t too thirsty, so i imagine they hadn’t been loose too long. Waited an hour before police were called to see if anyone was looking for them, or it would return home by itself, but kept roaming the neighborhood. I”d like to know whose this was. Thanks!
