Job: A Family in upstate NY requires a nanny for their elementary & pre-school aged children. Schedule to be discussed. Location: The family is based in upstate NY, with multiple properties throughout the US. So it is important that the nanny is flexible to travel wherever the family requires. *The family is open to relocating the right candidate to base in NY Duties: -Maintain the children’s daily schedule -Organize educational outings for the children, to ensure focus on whole child education & development -Work closely with the parents to ensure the family’s goals are being accomplished, & that the family’s holistic cultural standards are implemented in the children’s daily lives -Work in tandem with the family's other nanny, tutors & extracurricular instructors as needed -Develop a close & trusted relationship with the children -Provide structure & healthy boundaries for these spirited and gifted children -Work as part of a team with other family members & other household staff. Being a team player is very important to this family -Other nanny duties to include, but not limited to: light meal prep, child related housekeeping, organization projects, driving children to school & activities as needed -Occasional overnights & travel required Education & Personal Preferences: -Experience with the Montessori method prefered -Calm & peaceful demeanor within the home is of utmost importance to this family -Holistic & spiritual approach to life, with a willingness to learn & implement the family’s standards around this view -Interest in personal assisting for the mother highly desired Job: A Family in upstate NY requires a nanny for their elementary & pre-school aged children.
