Job:
A Family in upstate NY requires an Executive Housekeeper
Duties:
-Develop & implement daily housekeeping schedule. Ensuring the overall appearance & cleanliness of the home is maintained to the principal's standards. Must have an eye for detail & excellence
-Must have specialized knowledge & experience caring for fine furnishings, valuables, & art work. Adhering to the top industry standards in housekeeping
-Must have extensive knowledge & experience in laundering & caring for curated wardrobes
-Maintain household organization including pantries, closets, offices, children’s areas, & storage spaces
-Must be able to bring in, implement, & advise on household protocols & systems
-Must be able to self-motivate & self-manage, while reporting directly to principal
-Must be a team player with nanny’s & chef’s in the household as well
-Implement a household staff culture of family oriented team dynamics, balanced with healthy protocols & boundaries. Emphasis on continuing education for staff improvements
-Household eye for detail regarding daily & seasonal housekeeping of the home. Sourcing and working with outside vendors, & residential services as needed
-Excellent communication & organizational skills are a must
-Experience or willingness to learn Asana and Signal, for communication & project management
-A calm & peaceful demeanor within the home is of utmost importance to this family. Especially comfort around children as valued members of the household, requiring patience & attention from all household staff
Education & Personal Preferences:
-Experience in formal, multi-staffed homes or estates
-Hotel background a plus
-Holistic approach to life a plus
