"This year’s version of the guide, which analyzes the latest test data from the Department of Agriculture and Food and Drug Administration, also reveals that over 50 percent of potatoes, spinach, lettuce and eggplant had detectable levels of at least one of three bee-killing neonic insecticides banned in the European Union but still allowed for use on U.S. produce."

"Farmers have been using the weed killer glyphosate – a key ingredient of the product Roundup – at soaring levels even as glyphosate has become increasingly less effective and as health concerns and lawsuits mount.
Nationwide, the use of glyphosate on crops increased from 13.9 million pounds in 1992 to 287 million pounds in 2016, according to estimates by the U.S. Geological Survey."

We only have one Earth, one environment to protect to ensure our survival not just today but tomorrow as well.
When do we stop corporations from selling cancer causing poison?
When do we accept responsibility for our environment and our health?
What are we doing for our future? Are the paychecks and convince worth it when our health fails us, or even worse, our family?
Chemical free alternatives exist, they just don't make big companies any money, so we buy RoundUp weed killer instead of spraying vinegar and salt.
We use the industrial waste byproducts of big companies and it's killing us, killing the environment and our future.
When does it end?
How much destruction must we cause before we realize that we must change?
Instead of shopping for convenience, think about shopping consciously aware of the impact of each purchase. We vote with our money, with each dollar spent.
I'm voting for a future with clean water, clean air and clean healthy vibrant food.
