Description

Hello therrrrrr Mid/27/WM here..IMean I can only say so much...hmu let's have a amazing time? . . . . We're guitar, bass, vocals looking for a serious drummer. We have our own studio and producer on board, we're looking for someone who can commit to 1-2 jams a week plus recordings, videos, shows etc. If you're interested message me and I will send you some rough demos. We are a solid and committed outfit inspired by AfroFunk & AfroJazz music looking to add a female singer of African/African-Canadian heritage (direct or extended). Performing covers and originals in appreciation of AfroFunk, AfroJazz, and AfroBeat grooves originating from West Africa, we honour this lively music primarily rooted in 70’s Nigeria & Benin. For vocals there may be some overlap with R&B stylings. Not required, but experience with minor percussion, and/or ability to sing in English plus French and/or Yoruba would be an asset. Our philosophy is to enjoy our time together and to not stress ourselves about gigs. Don't worry, we always get lots of shows. Join a great group of bright fun people. We need someone on bass who can swing. Even better if you can sing. Someone who can commit to regular rehearsals and forthcoming shows. We are in our early 60's and play songs from early rock n roll and country or blues and more modern songs that feel similar. We rehearse Thursday nights downtown in a studio, and there is a small fee to participate each week. For those who may applied before, a server meltdown has lost us many previous emails, so please get back in touch.I've been playing drums for over 15 years, and I'm a graduate of Centennial College's Music Industry Arts & Performance program. If you're looking for a drummer to play on your recording(s), I can be your guy! I’ve linked my website’s Credits page below where you can hear my playing.I’m looking for a second acoustic guitarist who can sing backup. I already have a ton of songs written and want to start a side project separate from my band. I live in mid town. I do sing as well, but am a better guitar player than singer If this is something that interests you then please send a recording or link of your playing and singing. Here are 2 links of playing.New vocal group is casting for singers for studio work and possible touring. Must be available for rehearsals and recording dates. Pro attitude a must. Choreography as well as being able to play bass or guitar is a plus. Feel free to send vocal demos.Drummer, bassist, and rhythm guitarist looking for a lead guitarist to complete the line up. Seasoned players, semi-pros, who want to jam, line up a few gigs, and have some fun in a laid back no-drama environment. Mostly covers, maybe a few originals in classic rock, pop rock, and R&B genres. If you're into leads (and maybe some rhythm, trade offs, and vocals if you like), drop me a line.Midnight Oil, The Hip, and others. Good rock with a (sometimes) social-environmental message. Not saying I want to imitate the Oils, but it’s that kind of thing I have in mind. Saw them live last week and the band itself--never mind the hard-hitting lyrics--blew me away. Experienced semi-pro drummer here (recording & live) looking for good people/players to start an original band.We are a band that has been incubating for years with some dope originals, ready to start playing shows in Toronto. We've recently recorded an EP in Los Angeles and will be releasing it this summer. Our style is most heavily influenced by Red Hot Chili Peppers and Incubus. We currently have a vocalist and guitarist that live together downtown Toronto and have written an albums-worth of songs over the past several years. We're now looking to jam with bass players and drummers, find some brilliant chemistry and have some fun playing live shows.Existing Rush tribute looking for a professional guitarist who has experience with playing the material. You should be professional, have transportation and be willing to play live. We typically play shows about 2 weeks apart and look to play more often.
