The Young Latino Network (YLN) would like to invite you to Noche de Guayabera: Celebrating 20 years! After 3 years of navigating a global pandemic and an incredible 19 years since its inception, the Young Latino Network (YLN) is ringing in a new decade! As the Latinx community grows in population and opportunity, we would like to ask for your support as YLN begins a new journey. Join us for YLN's annual fundraiser and celebration of culture and achievement.  Proceeds from this event help us accomplish our mission to empower the Latinx community through leadership development, professional development, career advancement, civic education, and social & cultural awareness. Noche de Guayabera will take over The Madison in MidTown on Friday, July 22nd, 2022 from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. There will also be an afterparty from 11:00 p.m - 2:00 a.m. This celebration will be loads of fun and there will be live music! We will be highlighting flavors of Latin America and the Caribbean. You will be surrounded by some of the most amazing Latinx individuals in Northeast Ohio who work toward a more equitable and inclusive community! YLN is thrilled to announce the 2022 Keynote speaker for Noche De Guayabera, Judge Marilyn Zayas! Noche de Guayabera is an annual celebration of culture and achievement, and we have so much to celebrate! This year YLN will be presenting five new awards: Luis Gomez & Luis Vazquez Visionary Award Carmen Nieves Volunteer Service Award Democracy Builder Award Movement Builder Award YLN Partner Award Accomplice Award This event was created to support the YLN Scholarship Fund which allows YLN to support the professional development and growth of our community members. This important event will support the YLN's Growth Scholarship Fund which allows YLN to support the professional development and growth of our community members. These funds are critical to support members of our community to grow in their professional, civic, and leadership development by providing funding to cover costs associated with trainings, workshops, conferences, board dues and so much more. Financial commitments should not be a barrier to accessing growth opportunities. Noche De Guayabera is an opportunity to support the growth and development of Latinx individuals in Northeast Ohio while celebrating the great work accomplished thus far by our members. Your support will allow us to continue to advance the important work that we do throughout the entire year!
