This class is longer than the last one to allow for Q&A and because there is much to cover. 1. We'll go through the major plant varieties and discuss how to isolate for seed saving by plant type 2. Planning to harvest for food vs harvesting for seed 3. How you can put up all that bounty so you have some of the fruits of summer to enjoy through the winter. This is designed to help you allot enough time to put up your bounty so none of that beauty goes to waste! We'll discuss the various types of preservation, time commitments, equipment needed and storage. This is not meant to be an in-depth preservation class, but rather an introduction to the concepts so you can explore more on your own. Bring your notebooks, a pen, and your questions. $10 suggested tax deductible donation to cover the cost of the materials that are included in this class fee.
