Come join the NWiR Northern NJ Council as we volunteer with Habitat for Humanity of Bergen County! This is a fantastic way to connect with other members of NWiR and support our community! This event features two different opportunities for volunteering with Habitat for Humanity of Bergen County. - We have 5 spots available to work at a construction site in order to frame a 3-bedroom single family home. This schedule is fixed - 8AM-4PM. Must be 18 years old or older. - We will also have 10 spots available for assisting customers and/or refinishing furniture in the Habitat for Humanity ReStore space. The ReStore is open from 10AM-6PM and we are looking for volunteers to cover this shift. Must be 16 years older or older. Once you have registered for your choice of volunteer opportunity, we will send a waiver for you to sign. All volunteers should wear clothing that can get dirty and sturdy footwear (no flip flops or sandals).
