Description

Enjoy the many benefits of yoga, meet other parents, and connect with your babies in a supportive environment. The class will be lead by yoga instructor Rena Needle, and will include breathing exercises, yoga poses that can be modified based on your level, and soothing melodies for your baby to enjoy. Please wear comfortable clothes and bring a mat and a blanket for your baby to lay/sit on. This class is recommended for babies ages 6 weeks to crawlers/pre-walkers. Meet us at the outdoor field at the OFJCC. **In the unlikely event of rain, this event will be moved indoors on the 2nd floor pavilion, and we will keep the doors open for ventilation.** This event is free, but please consider a $10 donation to help support all of our wonderful programs. We know babies can be unpredictable, so please show up when you can! We will be taking photos at our events for future publicity and images will be used without names. If you prefer not to participate, please tell a Jewish Baby Network staff person at the event. Rena Needle is a certified yoga instructor with 10 years of experience teaching private, corporate, and pre/post natal yoga classes in New York City, Washington D.C. and most recently, the Bay Area. Rena is also a Registered Dietitian and health coach with a Masters in Public Health from New York University. Her expertise and passion is in pre and post-natal nutrition and wellness. She is the lucky mom of Elan (7), Maya (3), and Yael (1). We welcome everyone, including unaffiliated, single and multi-parent, multi-faith, multi-ethnic, multi-abled, and LGBTQ+ families. You do not need to be a member of OFJCC or any other organization to attend. Registration is appreciated but not required. Registration helps us plan and be in touch in case anything changes. JBN Peninsula Sponsors: Congregations Beth Am, Beth Jacob, Kol Emeth, and the PJCC. JBN Major Funders: The Koret Foundation, Rodan Family Foundation, Natan Giving Circle, and Leslie Family Foundation.
