Acrylic Painting on a Canvas Shopping ToteSaturday, August 6, 10am-3pm Instructor: Debbie Cannatella $60 + $35 materials fee Class limit: 10 No experience needed Learn about abstract art from local professional artist and Guild member, Debbie Canntella. After you gesso a canvas bag, she'll introduce you to the elements of design and composition in abstraction, and then you'll put your new knowledge to work designing and painting a 18"x20" heavy duty canvas shopping tote. Materials fee includes: 18"x20" canvas bag with strap, gusseted sides, and bottom ($15 for additional bag while supplies last.)Use of artist grade acrylic paintVarious art pensCharcoal sticksPencilsPaper for sketchingSealing sprayPaint brushesGessoClass handouts on designStudents should bring beverages as well as their lunch or order from a delivery service.
