OAK LAWN, IL — The Oak Lawn Public Library, 9427 S. Raymond Ave., will reopen Monday, Jan, 4 for limited "Grab and Go" services. Doors will be open from 10 to 11 a.m. for seniors and those with disabilities, and to the public at 11 a.m. The library closed temporarily closed last month amid rising coronavirus cases. The computer center will be open, with two walk-up computers on the second floor. All study and meeting rooms will remain closed. No book donations are being accepted at this time by Friends of the Oak Lawn Library. All book and material returns should be deposited in the three book drops outside the library building. The library requires all patrons to wear masks and practice social distancing. Library hours: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The library is closed Sunday. The Oak Lawn Public Library is closely following Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker's TIER 3 pandemic guidelines and is constantly monitoring local COVID-19 case numbers. If numbers spike, the library will announce another closing.
