Georgetown ISD Education Foundation is hosting our annual Community Showcase on Tuesday August 9th in the Georgetown High School Cafeteria from 8:30-10:00 AM. This is an opportunity to showcase your business or organization to the teachers and staff of GISD. This year, we will have showcases spread throughout GHS that will include demos in the Eagle Innovation Center, students’ performances and more. You can expect a consistent flow of traffic as the 2000 employees of GISD make their way through the cafeteria before they head to Convocation. The $175 entry fee will be reduced to $75 for Georgetown non-profit organizations. Table set up occurs at 5 PM the day prior to the event or as early as 7 AM the day of. Important terms and guidelines regarding participation in the showcase are listed below. Please read carefully and indicate that you understand and agree to the guidelines after reading them. GISD will provide a six foot table for your use. No table cover is provided. Electricity to the table will not be provided. Extension cords will not be allowed as they are a tripping hazard and a violation of the fire code. Samples of food or drinks may be distributed, but all local health and safety codes must be followed. Alcohol, tobacco, drugs, drug paraphernalia, and firearms may not be advertised, promoted, or distributed. GISD administrators and designated personnel have final approval on appropriate businesses and materials for distribution or display.
