Welcome Vendors We are looking for vendors like you to showcase your business at the South Florida HBCU Picnic. 1. REGISTRATION FORM AND VENDOR FEE MUST BE SENT AT THE SAME TIME OR THE APPLICATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. a. Vendor fee is $150.00 i. Application and payment must be submitted no later than June 19th, 2022. ii. $150 vendor fee is refundable. All other fees are non-refundable. iii. Vendors will be selected at the organizer’s discretion. iv. Vendor agrees to furnish to the Black College Experience, Inc. proof of liability insurance coverage in the amount of $1,000,000.00 per occurrence and $3,000,000.00 in the aggregate. Certificate of Insurance (COI) with the Black College Experience, Inc. as the additional insured must be provided and submitted to [email protected]. 2. Vendors should arrive by 10:00AM to set up. No exceptions. Vendors may start cleanup around 5:30pm. a. Vendors are responsible for leaving the area as they found it. b. Vendors are responsible for maintaining an organized set up during the event and leaving a clean area at closing. 3. Vendors are responsible for providing their own table and chairs for the event. If bringing a table, limit to no more than one 4 to 6 ft table and 2 chairs. a. Vendors will have a space for a 4-6 ft table and 2 chairs to showcase your business and/or products (table and chairs not provided) 4. Vendors will assume responsibility for all personal property and equipment. 5. The organizers will not be responsible for any injury, property damage, or loss occurring while in attendance. The vendors of the South Florida HBCU Picnic will hold harmless the Black College Experience, Inc. and Florida Memorial University. 6. Vendors shall exhibit professionalism at all times. 7. Please note, the event and its participants will be photographed and recorded for marketing purposes. a. Vendors of the Black College Experience, Inc. releases Black College Experience, Inc. and Florida Memorial University and assigns permissions to license all images, videos, and sound recordings in any media for any purpose which may include, among others, advertising, promotion, marketing, and packaging for any product or service. b. The vendor agrees that any images, sound, and video recordings may be combined with other images, text, graphics, cropped, altered, and modified. *Terms subject to change
