We are seeking a candidate who is dependable, punctual, and has the ability to work quickly with accuracy to join our growing business. The construction worker position is located in Long Island New York. This position is responsible for performing Interior Construction and Design Works and site utility work for commercial and residential construction projects. The successful candidate will be part of a production-driven team, performing general labor tasks Duties/Responsibilities - Insulation of Drywall with tape and spackle experience - Perform painting works - Update Door Trim and Baseboards - Installing baseboard and new window & door casings, Baseboard Molding - Installing crown molding on cabinets - Installation Of chair rail Molding on stairs - Installing snap lock tongue and groove laminate & vinyl flooring - Installation of ceramic wall and floor tiles Required Skills/Abilities - Ability to safely handle power tools, hand tools, ladders, roofing materials along with inverters, automatic wall painting machine, miter saw, Drywall Tape and Mud Dispenser Tool and other similar machine and equipment. - Excellent problem-solving skills. - Excellent attendance is essential for the team to achieve success. - Travel is mandatory and will vary dependent on business needs. Employees must be able to travel for up to 2 weeks at a time, several times a year to various locations within the US. - Experience in roof work (including metal, concrete tile, clay tile, comp, shingle, or wood shake), HVAC, metal fabrication, general construction or carpentry is mandatory. - Must be able to speak professionally to homeowners or building managers. - Last but not least, come to work with a positive attitude and be punctual Physical Requirements - Must be able to work at great heights including on rooftops, climbing ladders, and stairs - Must be able to work in extreme environments (example: hot sun, cold, crawl spaces, attic etc.) - Prolonged periods of repetitious duties including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods - Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds frequently - Must meet all OSHA standards for working at heights including: - Ability to climb and utilize equipment on site including various ladders rated for a maximum capacity of 325lbs.
