Here's what I'm looking for in a Groundsman: 1. Clean valid driver's license so you can drive our pickup truck legally and safely 2. Your own vehicle so you can get to work at any time reliably and responsibly. Without this, things just can't stay flowing smoothly. It's very hard to pick up and drop someone off or be limited by when someone can be picked up and dropped off. It creates a real problem. 3. You take care of your physical condition. You need to get a good night's rest to do treework. You need to eat fairly well in order to have energy. If you have serious problems with drugs and alcohol it also makes it very hard to function well. There's just no way to move forward without having this right. 4. I'm looking for someone with good morals. You need to be a fair person and a kind person. There's no way to function as a team with someone who only thinks of himself. And you will be surprised at how much we think of you. 5. You have to learn to do the job exactly right, which means taking the gear and putting it away correctly. You can't just rush and cut corners. You can't have the temperament and the attitude that it's too much to ask. There's no way to succeed without understanding this. 6. You need to have real skill with treework and be able to work effectively. You need to work at a fast pace sometimes but there are also plenty of chance to take a break. And there are other people to work with as partners in dealing heavy loads and choke points. And you need to have real skill and speed at this. 7. Punctual and flexible about work times. Sometimes we work long days. But will you will have whole days off to compensate for this. There are tremendous amount of benefits of working as part of my crew, it is not grunt work all day, there are many machines and equipment to reduce the workload, and there many opportunities to make the most of the day and manage the strain on your body. But you need to be able to effectively harness this mentally and make it work. Please send some information about yourself.
