We have an event in Austin starting on July 4th and have a rental truck (20ft UHaul) full of apparel inventory for the event that we need to get from Denver to Austin between Friday 7/1 and Sunday 7/3. We typically do this ourselves but the team is at another event this upcoming weekend. If you are available to drive the rental truck (solo) from Denver to Austin (15 hours) over the course of 2-3 days next weekend please let me know and tell me how much you would charge for this. Details: - We would walk through the contents with you ahead of time so you know exactly what you're moving. The truck would be locked and you would have a key to access it if needed. - We would include you as an authorized driver on the rental policy - We would pre-pack the truck and meet you in Austin to unload it. You wouldn't need to help unload unless you wanted to. - We would give you prepaid gas cards. - We would prebook hotels and a return flight for you. - We would pay you the agreed-upon fee via Gusto (our payroll processor) as a 1099 contractor.
