Warehouse Associate This is a PERMANENT Full-Time position. With possibilities for advancement. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing a range of general warehouse tasks including loading, unloading, stock, inventory, labeling, shipping and receiving. Warehouse Associate contributes to the efficiency of the warehouse production by ensuring high safety and sanitation standards are maintained at all times. Responsibilities • Unload product from truck and stock them in the designated area. • Ensures that product is properly placed on racks, shelves, or in bins according to established practice. • Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets; conveys orders to packing station or shipping department and prepare for shipping. • Ensure that product is handled in a sanitary manner. • Adhere to the company’s safety practices at all times. • Marks materials with identifying information. • Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed. • Arranges product in specified sequence for processing by other workers as needed. • ABILITY TO OPERATE STAND UP REACH TRUCK, DOCKER LIFT AND PALLET JACKS A MUST • Maintain clean work environment. • Other duties as needed. Minimum Requirements: • Education – High School Diploma or equivalent. • Experience – One to two years of related experience with REACH truck operation. • Work ethic – A sense of urgency in meeting critical and time sensitive deadlines. • Accuracy – Demonstrated ability to accurately pack product in a timely fashion. • Language – Basic English speaking and written proficiency. Spanish a plus. • Mathematical – Ability to perform basic arithmetic tasks – adding, subtracting, dividing, and multiplying. • Willingness to work in a freezer/refrigerator for minimal periods of time. • Food Safety Knowledge • A combination of the above will also be considered.
