We adopted Freya a year ago when she was 12 weeks old. The birth family said she is half Australian shepherd and half Great Pyrenees, which was ideal because we were hoping to raise a livestock guardian dog to help protect our small urban farm from coyotes. We have loved her and trained her, yet she still kills chickens. She is great with young kids, cats, and other dogs. She is leashed trained and follows multiple commands. Freya is house trained as well, although she still chews up a kid toy here and there. We provide lots of chews, and that helps. We are hoping to find her a home where she can get lots of attention, go on walks/hikes, and go to the dog park. Freya is VERY smart and will not do well if she is left alone regularly for long periods of time. She wants to be apart of things, work, and love on her people. She's a great dog! She just keeps killing chickens, which is a deal breaker for our home. Adoption fee $300. She is spayed and up to date on shots. Not microchipped.
