Edward Hospital Reports 54 Coronavirus Inpatients, 116 Deaths

NAPERVILLE, IL — Edward Hospital is treating 54 inpatients with confirmed cases of coronavirus as of Tuesday, according to an email from hospital spokesperson Keith Hartenberger. The numbers show a sharp decrease from last Tuesday, when the hospital was treating 86 inpatients. Hartenberger added that no patients died from coronavirus within the past 24 hours. Nine coronavirus inpatients were discharged from Edward Hospital within the past 24 hours. Since March 24, 1,437 inpatients have been treated for coronavirus and discharged from Edward Hospital.
