This position requires a TWIC card, a valid driver license, and preferably a passport but this not required if it can be obtained at a later date. The job consist of inspecting the safety equipment (fire extinguishers, breathing equipment ect.) on board commercial ships at the ports along the West Coast. We would provide on the job training for the right candidate. There would be lots of overtime and travel by truck or commercial flight. The hours can be irregular given the ships schedule. We guarantee 40 hours a week+. The starting pay would be $20 per hour with rapid raises based on your ability to learn the job..
