Deaf asl student looking for Deaf friend/mentor

Hello. I am 3rd generation HoH but I am the first in my family to sign. I had learned much on my own, and finally started to take classes, but I need more. It has been many years of insecurity and frustration about my hearing and identity and I am finally taking steps to accept and embrace my Deaf identity. But I don’t have any Deaf friends here. I sign with my wife and daughter, but my wife learning as we go and my daughter is 2 lol. My next asl class isn’t until the fall. I just need more asl in my life. About me: I am 28, trans, queer, and I use a hearing aid. I am a writer, a gamer, and a dad. I have some degree of conversational fluency, but I am far from being fluent. If you are Deaf, queer friendly, and are interested in befriending an anxious Deaf mess who desperately wants to connect with the community, please reach out. It’s lonely here.
